WIP X DE GUDDE WËLLEN.

Inspired by the Parisian Work In Progress evenings, the concept behind Word in Progress (WIP). is simple and original: to create a genuine exchange between the audience and the writer while offering a glimpse of a work in the making. Invited authors read, for ten minutes, an unpublished text that is still in the process of being written.

Afterwards, it’s the audience’s turn to take part: they share their impressions and ask the author about their work in progress, guided by a “writer’s executioner” who helps steer and structure the discussion.

Join us for a special WIP evening on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 8 pm at De Gudde Wëllen. You’ll be able to enjoy a drink while listening to works in progress by Laureena Mardini, Robbie Martzen, and Humphrey Gudgeon. For this occasion, the discussion will be moderated by Frederic Braun.

The evening will continue with a DJ set by Christophe Demart.
