+ DJ set: Dr-JExploring endless repetition and hypnotic minimalism through motorik pulses, analogue synths, and distorted bass, Mirror Revelations is a Mexican krautrock band formed by Gabriela Alcalá and Alam Castillo. Rooted in the motorik tradition while embracing darker psychedelic and industrial textures, their music revolves around trance-inducing repetition and a relentless forward pulse.
Earlier this year, the band released their second full-length album,
Ígnea, a raw blast of heavy motorik drive and industrial psych intensity that's built to dance as it burns. Stripped to the core with the live show in mind,
Ígnea finds pedal-processed synthesisers and a relentless bass-and-drums backbone powering songs of resistance and ignition.
