Percujam

Concert de bienfaisance - Fondation Autisme Luxembourg

Percujam is a truly unique group: an ensemble where young autistic adults and their educators share the stage, the creative process, and the full energy of live performance. Together, they bring to life an extraordinary human and artistic adventure, where difference becomes strength and every concert turns into a genuine encounter. For more than fifteen years, they have toured throughout France and abroad with a repertoire that is vibrant, poetic, and unmistakably committed. Often associated with French chanson or pop-rock, Percujam’s musical identity moves freely between slam, rap, reggae and various urban influences. Their creative process is singular: the educators compose by drawing inspiration from the artists' emotions and inner worlds, and in return the autistic musicians reshape, reinvent and challenge the music with their own sensitivity. The group’s members live and work at Alternat, a medicalised residential center founded in 2009 by the association APRAHM Autisme, which serves as a true place of life, learning and shared creation. Percujam is a world of its own: a space where work, humour and humanism naturally rhyme with music, and where the stage becomes a place of freedom and authentic connection. You may have seen them on Les Rencontres du Papotin on France 2 or performing alongside Julien Doré in a widely shared music video - glimpses of a profoundly human artistic journey that never fails to touch the heart.
