MICRO-TRUC

Micro-publishing and craftbeer fair

The Kulturfabrik is delighted to present the first edition of MICRO-TRUC, a day devoted to images and illustrations - and not only!

Micro-publishing describes a range of techniques, some faster than others, some more traditional than others, some more imperfect than others. We want, on this day, to bring together creators of the Great Region who are experimenting with these practices and highlight their work, in a spirit that is on one side innovative and polished, but also very DIY and absolutely haphazard.

Micro-publishing fair

12pm to 9pm // Big hall and Gallery

Posters, fanzines, small formats, brochures, silkscreens, linocuts... 23 artists from Luxembourg, Belgium, France and Germany are invited.

Craft beer fair

12pm to 9pm // Big hall

Micro-edition, micro-brewery, same spirit!

Taste craft beers brewed in very limited quantities (and wine)!

Brasserie Wait & See : Nanobrewery based in Kehlen, Brasserie Wait & See offers a variety of craft beers brewed in-house. The beers vary according to season and demand, with the aim of offering customers an authentic, high-quality experience, while minimising their ecological impact.

Winenoobs:  The motto of Ben, winemaker and founder of winenoobs: "Life is too short to drink bad wine". To put this into practice, Ben offers blind tastings to discover new wines that you can buy from his online shop.

Totenhopfen:  Going from home to commercial brewing in 2017, Totenhopfen is set to shake up the burgeoning brewing scene in Luxembourg. With the goal of having its own Brewpub, Totenhopfen currently brews at different breweries throughout Europe, contributing to the European project of connecting people. Totenhopfen's beers ((available at Ratelach all year round)  are renowned not only for their experimental and well-balanced flavors but also for their visually stunning labels.

Show in the Courtyard

  • La Timbrée By the Plem-Plem Compagnie

    2pm to 8pm / Free access

Two artists and a funny mobile shack where you'll find everything you need (and more) to (re)discover the pleasure of creating, of writing, with the intention of sending it to someone, a relative or a stranger... A place to dream and give free rein to your creativity.

Concerts

After navigating the hip-hop scene for many years, Gus, a collector of punctured bug skulls since the age of 6, created the Amis Nos Morts concept in 2020. A one-man crew, loop music, an animated concert, a musical show. Accompanied by singing and dancing skulls, the heady loops played entirely live take the audience on a journey through sounds that oscillate between abstract hip-hop, electro, music boxes and tin cans.

  • Alexis Lumière

    9:30pm / Ratelach

Alexis Lumière is the name of Alexis' solo musical adventure. And like all adventures, it had a beginning: the 80s and 90s in the Paris suburbs, the first home consoles, video game soundtracks compiled on K7 and a life punctuated by the bpm of DBZ and X-Files episodes. Not having really moved on, Alexis continues to draw on the cult references of his youth to create his own mythology, which he transmits both in his recorded compositions and during his energetic and generous concerts.
