What drove humanity to create such complicated tools when all other species use what nature has provided?Following the highly praised « Cliquez sur j’aime » (Le Mans-Cité Chanson Jury Prize) in 2014 and « Toi tu te tais » (Aux Actes Citoyens Festival Prize) in 2018, Narcisse’s new creation brings together a slam poet, a guitarist and around twenty holographic artists to help us reconnect with our humanity by reflecting on what it means to be human.
The show recounts the incredible adventure of human beings: the invention of speech; the first journeys; the beginnings of social life; the discovery of music; the creation of writing; and the birth of science. Contrary to popular belief, it is not primarily our intelligence that has made us what we are.
