Experience one fine evening with Franziska Peschel. Growing up on the German Baltic Sea coast, Franziska Peschel let herself be carried by the wind, studies, and a thirst for discovery across Germany and Europe, to the shores of France, Sweden, and Italy. The pandemic stranded her in Luxembourg, far from the sea. Here, she works as a reporter. She always felt comfortable with a pen and notebook, just as much as on stages and in front of a microphone. However, it was only in Luxembourg that she merged both passions and promptly became the runner-up at the national Poetry Slam Championship in 2021. Whether in journalism or fiction, storytelling takes center stage for her. Before a stroke hits the paper, she observes, listens intently, smells, and touches. Her texts aim to evoke a sense of places and people, allowing images to nestle in minds—and most importantly, they aspire to be read and heard until the end. Franziska Peschel is convinced that this only happens when a narrative is vivid. 'One fine evening with...' is a carefully curated evening dedicated to an established or emerging talent from Luxembourg. Artists from the fields of music, dance, comedy or literature will alternately present their body of work. We take the time to devote an entire evening to an artist, delving into the driving force behind their creations – their desires, fears, and sources of inspiration. 'One fine evening with...' offers an intimate insight into the world of each artist and will be moderated by Luc Spada. The conversation with the artist will be conducted in German.
