Maybeshewill is James Collins, Matthew Daly, John Helps, Robin Southby and Jamie Ward. Since 2006 the band has released 4 studio albums and an EP, always aspiring to be as self-sufficient as possible, sticking to a steadfastly DIY ethos and self-recording all their material to date.
Over more than 15 years, Maybeshewill toured most of the way around the world with the likes of 65daysofstatic, ASIWYFA, Dillinger Escape Plan, Long Distance Calling and countless others. In 2016, the band played that was supposed to be their final show – London’s Koko sold out months in advance. In 2018, they were tempted back on stage by none other than The Cure’s Robert Smith to perform at his Meltdown Festival at London’s Sothbank Centre.
The group will hit the road again in 2021 for a European tour that will stop in March 2022 at Kufa.
“It’s a rush, the sound of a band throwing everything at scaling peaks of their own making. Fair Youth continues an established pattern as Maybeshewill attempt to burn bright at every turn.”
“Not only is their wellspring of underlying grandeur being tapped, it’s also clear that there’s even greater things to come”
“Noisy brilliance that gets right inside the battered crevices of your skull and pounds on the sides”
Support: PTOLEMEA
PTOLEMEA is an artistic project, where nature and synchronicity have their place. Led by the singer and musician Priscila Da Costa, together with Remo Cavallini on lead guitar, they take us on a true spiritual adventure. PTOLEMEA rises over its musical creations with a definitely pagan alternative rock / grunge style.
