Colourful techno that is as sensual as it is punchy - that's how the world of Irène Drésel can be described in a few words. A hypnotic world in which slow, sporty BPMs stand alongside crystal-clear melodies, thwarting the expectations of many a genre listener. Irène Drésel, a polymorphous artist who has moved from hectic Paris to the tranquillity of the countryside, cultivates her world down to the smallest detail, as shown by the roses on stage that gracefully tower over the cold steel of her machines. Although Irène Drésel composes alone, she is accompanied live by a percussionist, Sizo Del Givry, who lends a certain aura to this visual uniqueness. However, this two-person constellation does not exclude the possibility of other guests having their say from time to time.
The producer, who has given numerous concerts, has also had the opportunity to perform on stage at major festivals: Printemps de Bourges, Les Vieilles Charrues or even Scopitone, Ososphère, Arte Concert and Fusion Festival. After two consecutive EPs, "Rita" (2017) and "Icône" (2018), their debut album "Hyper Cristal" was released in spring 2019 and their album "Kinky Dogma" in June 2021. The album emphasises the repetitive and spatial nature of his musical style, immersing us in his psyche to dance all night in fields of flowers. Sometimes frenetic, sometimes more celebratory, it's music you have to listen to.
In addition to the stage, Irène Drésel took her first steps in the world of cinema by writing the soundtrack for the film "À Plein Temps" by Eric Gravel., which was released in cinemas in March 2022. She won the César for Best Original Score for this film in February 2023. This makes her the first woman in history to win an award in this category.
>> The film will be screened at the Kinosch on Friday 16 February at 6pm, followed by a discussion in the presence of Irène Drésel. More info here.

Support : FOREIGNERS
The brainchild of Yliana Paolini and Kevin Hinna, Foreigners is an experimental electronic music project that blends haunting vocals and gentle vibrations with more assertive electronic sounds. Backed by singer Æm, whom we already discovered in July 2022, they conjure up a hypnotic sonic space, inviting contemplation as much as dance. Recently, these remarkably gifted artists composed 'An Island', an EP inspired by John Koenig's Dictionary of Sorrows, in which the author attempts to define as yet unnamed emotions characteristic of our frenetic contemporary society. A unique musical universe at the crossroads of house, electro and funk.
After @Ratelach : MORFAZ
Imagine a kingdom where the legends of Tolkien are married to the rhythms of techno. From the depths of his mystical home, Morfaz invites you into his world. His electronic music weaves a deep, groovy spell, oscillating between luminous electro and dark atmospheres. Nestling in the heart of the city of Luxembourg, the enchanting Franco-Luxembourger Morfaz draws his inspiration from the Grand Duchy's verdant landscapes, where black, pointed roofs rise proudly towards the sky. From this bucolic essence, he forges an electronic music far removed from the codes of the genre, imbued with freshness and originality. His creations are accompanied by a visual universe bursting with imagination. The characters of Goöros, the bark mask symbolising life, and Gülaajhan the corrupter, his evil alter ego, cross swords with many other fantastic creatures.
Morfaz's epic is a vast playground, mixing the geek codes of his childhood with his lifelong musical idols: Deadmau5, Infected Mushroom, Nicolas Jaar and many others. After a successful year in 2023, marked by a notable appearance at the Rocklab Live Sessions and opening for French79 in Luxembourg, Morfaz teamed up with Unison Studios to present his debut EP 'Crépuscule' in early 2024, and is looking forward to defending it on stage as he continues to expand his artistic presence in Luxembourg and beyond.
