Programme

The theme of REMIX is present in all its facets throughout the festival period. A dynamic kaleidoscope of perspectives, ideas and inspiration. Care is taken to create a continuous and varied programme that brings together different target groups. Aside from literary events and readings by renowned authors for all age groups, giving a stage to socially relevant issues is one of the aims of our project.

Here, for example, colloquia are planned around the future topic of artificial intelligence, including discussion rounds with leading experts, both on the technical side and on the ethical-philosophical and literary side. The Prix Laurence Youth Literature Prize has been a central component of the Bettemburg Literary Festival LiteraTour since 2015. As part of Esch2022, the prize is announced on a large regional scale and accompanied by multimedia. www.prixlaurence.lu

The comic 'De Ris geet op d'Rees' is being created around the sleeping giant, the landmark of Bettemburg's Parc Merveilleux. In addition, a creative giant-themed trail through Bettembourg, which will remain a long-term experience, invites visitors to relive the giant's adventures live through the Bettembourg community. Local associations and institutions will also be intensively involved. Esch2022 becomes a shared vision. Close cooperation with other Esch2022 partner projects will also be sought.
