"LTZBG" Buchvirstellung

Samuel Hamen

It doesn't take much in life to find yourself stuck, in an impasse from which there is no easy way out. In his new book LTZBG, Samuel Hamen portrays three people who break out of their daily routine in Luxembourg...

A young parent who hides out with his baby in a carrier in a small garden in Hollerich and discovers the terror of urban life; a pensioner who feels time slipping away and, with the courage of despair, storms an industrial estate; a young entrepreneur trapped in her food truck by a downpour, reading brutal truths in the cooking smoke of Kniddelen.

Escalation can happen anywhere, and that's when it’s time to question ourselves: about a country we don't fully understand, about our own lives, which we understand even less. Three monologues, three voices, three perspectives on society—poetic, impertinent, and razor-sharp in their observation. In Luxembourg, there's more to lose than to win. From ECHO.lu

For this evening’s presentation, actress Larisa Faber will read excerpts from Samuel Hamen’s book. The reading will be followed by a discussion between the author and the actress. Afterward, the audience will have the opportunity to meet the artists over a drink.
