PANORAMA

Throughout the year 2022, the programming of the Théâtre d'Esch / Esch2022 will outline a Panorama of the Man of Esch, the citizen and the human of today living and working in the area of Esch2022. History, languages, the industrial past, international institutions, the relationship with the Other, national communities, the status of women, but also pop culture: we are multiplying the angles to outline in shows what makes up the identity of the 'Man of Esch'. A sort of Chinese portrait, a rebus, with multiple entries and keys: aesthetic, philosophical, historical, social or political...

All Panorama's proposals are creations or new versions specially for the Théâtre d'Esch, by spirited Luxembourgish and European artists. Each production has its own economy, with its own artistic and financial partners. Panorama is made up of all these different projects: ten creative projects for the whole year of 2022.
