For 10 years, PIPAPO has been part of Luxembourg’s nightlife and festival scene, creating spaces for conversations around harm reduction, safer use, safer sex and care. X BY PIPAPO celebrates this journey with a full day and night dedicated to learning, exchanging, moving and, of course, partying together.
From 14:00 to 16:00, Rotondes’ Studios host three parallel workshops exploring nightlife, harm reduction and safer party culture:
- Archiving the Night, with Nicole Olenskaia
- PipaPopUp – Peer-to-Peer Safer Party Xchange
- DUCK – From Result to Response, with Carlos Paulos and Mireia Ventura (invite only)
The sessions create space to exchange knowledge, experiences and practices and to look at nightlife from different community and professional perspectives.
From 16:00, we come together at Rotondes’ Klub for Xchanges: conversations and exchanges with people from different areas of nightlife, harm reduction and community work, asking what safer and more caring nightlife can look like today and in the future.
The afternoon continues with a surprise X BY PIPAPO birthday performance, before
Jessy James LaFleur
takes the stage with Setting the Frame, a spoken-word performance reflecting on nightlife, care and the spaces we create together.
At 20:00, it’s time to move.
Sarada Sarita, together with
DJ Rice Krispie, leads a clubbing workshop and dance warm-up – an invitation to explore the dancefloor through movement before the night begins.
And then, we celebrate.
X BY PIPAPO spreads across three venues simultaneously, from 22:00 at Rotondes and from 23:00 at Rocas and de Gudde Wëllen.
Different spaces, sounds and communities, connected by one idea: nightlife can be a place for celebration, freedom and connection – and care can be part of the party.
