Following the success of "The Madness of Andrew Watts" last year, the International Countertenor returns to the Monologue Festival with his pianist Gavin Roberts to present a specially curated programme - "Gods, Monsters, Fairies". 

In this programme Andrew and Gavin explore the relationship between the ethereal characters that Andrew inhabits, the musical effect that they have on him and upon the audience. Heroic Gods, troubled monsters and unruly fairies are all celebrated and explored in open and immersive presentation. 

Works by Händel, Purcell, Britten, Reimann and Neuwirth are placed along world premieres by UK composers Louise Drewett and Joseph Howard. 

A rare opportunity to get up close to these amazing artists and to be part of an unforgettable evening.
