MEET THE ARTISTS - SQUATFABRIK #3

In 2020, in the middle of the worldwide pandemic, the team at Kulturfabrik was more determined than ever to support the local art scene and the result was Squatfabrik: a programme of short artist residencies. Due to the project’s great success, it has become a permanent fixture in Kufa’s calendar and is back for a fourth time on 2023.

Between May and November 2023, four artist duos will be in residence at Kufa (with always one local and one foreign artist). Serge Ecker (LU) and Petra.Preta is this fourth edition’s third artist combination.

For the third edition of the 2023 Squatfabrik, we want to start a new form of event : the "MEET THE ARTISTS".

Squatfabrik and Bridderhaus invite you to meet their artists-in-residence at a two-part event: first at Kulturfabrik, from 5pm to 7:30pm, then a few steps away at Bridderhaus, from 7:30pm to 9pm. This will be an opportunity for the public to discover the work of the guest artists and exchange ideas with them.
