When Count Almaviva plans to have his wicked way with lady’s maid Susannah before her wedding to his manservant Figaro, she and her intended set about teaching their master a lesson in Mozart’s comic opera of 1786.
Following the excellent Ariadne auf Naxos in April, the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg returns for this first opera of the season, in a new staging from James Gray, under the baton of renowned conductor Jérémie Rhorer.
