Luxembourgian Centre of the International Theatre Institut
The THEATER FEDERATIOUN is also the Luxembourgish Centre of the International Theatre Institute. The International Theatre Institute (ITI) is a non-governemental organization which was officially inaugurated by the UNESCO and a group of international theatre experts in 1948.
It is the largest international network in the field of performing arts.
The ITI-Lëtzebuerg consideres as its main task to stimulate a critical exchange of ideas on the topics of theatre and cultural policy in Luxembourg.
On the international level, the Luxembourgish Centre of the ITI is a member of two of the ITI’s various groups:
- the New Project Group
- the international dance committee
